We hereby inform you of a design change regarding the multi-touch resistive touch screen “MTR-G Series”. Specifically, we will be changing the position of the sealed vent. Please review the following details.

2. Details of the Change
Change in the position of the sealed vent.
MTR-G touch screens contain air between the film and glass to maintain insulation. The sealed vent is a part of the panel where a transparent sealing agent is applied to prevent air leakage through the air vent.
3. Reason for the Change
In some models of the MTR-G Series, the current sealed vent location overlaps with the panel’s silver circuitry, making it difficult for operators to visually confirm the sealing agent amount during production. By relocating the sealed vent to an area without circuitry, we aim to improve visibility and facilitate easier inspection of the sealing agent application.
